Olson Pitches Her Way To Athlete Of The Week Honors

Eatonville Sports News would like to congratulate Eatonville Cruiser Haley Olson on being named the Eatonville Sports News Spring Sports Athlete of the Week for the week of March 25th – March 31st.

Olson, a sophomore on the Eatonville HS fastpitch team, had a great week of games for the Cruisers. Against White River, she threw a complete game 1-hitter to pick up the win. She followed that up with another win against Franklin Pierce where she also was 3-4 at the plate with 2 doubles, and then she finished out the week by picking up another win against Emerald Ridge where she had another complete game.

Athlete of the Week winners receive their choice of a shake, cone, or smoothie courtesy of the Cruiser Café​ or $5 worth of frozen yogurt from Malibu Frozen Yogurt.

Weekly winners are also then eligible for the Athlete of the Month award which is a $25 Gift Certificate from either Cruiser Café or Malibu Frozen Yogurt, a hand-made Cruiser themed quilt courtesy of Alyssa Wood, and a Cruiser themed tumbler cup courtesy of Junk Drawer Crafts.
