Lady Cruiser Tennis Blanks Tyee

The Eatonville High School girl’s tennis team took on the Tyee Totems on Thursday last week in a league match up.

The Cruisers would take the overall win, 5 games to none. In singles play, the Cruisers were led by Amber Frank who beat her opponent in two sets, 6-3 and 6-1 to keep her unblemished record intact. She is now 7-0 on the season. Katie Foster would also defeat her opponent in two sets, 6-1 and 6-2.

In doubles play, Laela Stalkfleet and Hannah Bahr would improve their record to 4-3 on the season after winning their match up in three sets, 6-4, 6-7, 10-6. Emily Frey and Claire Golding ran their season record to 2-3 after taking their opponent to three sets and getting the win, 6-4, 5-7, 7-5. Brittney Tipton and Cassidy Foster would round things out for the Cruisers by winning in two sets, 6-1 and 6-1 to keep the Cruiser shut-out in place.

This overall win brings the team record to 3-4 overall and 3-3 in league play.
