Cruiser Track Competes Well, Prepares For Subdistricts



The Eatonville HS track and field team would compete in a meet with a couple of 4A schools and a 2B school on Thursday, May 5th with some good showings from their athletes.


Overall, it would be Emerald Ridge HS taking the top spots in both the boy's and girls' competitions. The Eatonville boys would finish in 4th with the girls taking a 3rd place finish.


Having a great day for the Cruisers were:


Kyle Cox - 1st place Shot Put

Jake Wood - 1st place Javelin

Job Kralik - 2nd place 100M and 3rd place 200M with both being personal best times.

Justus Roulst - 2nd place High Jump

Jenae Roulst - 2nd place Javelin

Alex Lambert - 2nd place Pole Vault

Emily Bennett - 3rd place 100M Hurdles

Tristan Lewis - 3rd place Discus

E. Gendreau, H. Hanson, N. King, B, Andersen - 3rd place 4x200M Relay

Hannah Kralik - 3rd place Pole Vault


On Saturday, May 7th a host of Cruisers would compete in the Freshman Invitational at Tiger Stadium in Centralia, WA.


The top three finishers at the meet for the Cruisers were:


Ethan Carter - 1st place Pole Vault

C. Bamford, R. Hill, K. Nation, D. Sullivan - 1st place 4x100M Relay

Cole Bamford - 2nd place Javelin

Eva Garber - 2nd place Discus

Ky Nation - 3rd place 100M

Joseph Callon - 3rd place High Jump


The Cruisers will now rest up and prepare for the Evergreen 1A Subdistrict Championships on May 13th at Montesano High School.
