Lady Cruiser Soccer Battles To Draw

Michelle Kahler fights for the ball against a Cardinal player. Kahler would go on to score the Cruisers only goal in their 1-1 draw with Franklin Pierce on Saturday.

The Lady Cruiser soccer team would play host to the Franklin Pierce Cardinals this past Saturday at Art Crate Stadium.

The Cardinals would strike first at the 30th minute to take a 1-0 lead.

The score would stay that way until the 2nd half when the Cruisers would score on a corner kick when junior Hailey Rath would float a beautiful corner kick into junior Michelle Kahler who would boot it in for the equalizer at the 65th minute mark. The match would end in a 1-1 draw.

Earlier in the week, the Cruisers would drop a match to the Fife Trojans by a score of 6-0.
