2A SPSL Announces Winter Sports All-League Honors

The 2A South Puget Sound League (SPSL) has announced its All-League honors for the 2024-25 winter sports season, recognizing standout athletes and coaches across basketball and wrestling.
Girls Basketball Dominates with Top Honors
Bailey Andersen was named the league’s Most Valuable Player, leading a strong group of honorees for girls basketball. Andersen’s dynamic performances throughout the season helped cement her status as one of the premier players in the league.
Lillian Bickford earned a spot on the First Team, while Tia Schanbeck was named to the Second Team. Honorable Mentions went to Hailey Hall and Alayna Meyer, rounding out a strong showing for the squad. Head coach Deanna Andersen was recognized as Coach of the Year after guiding her team to an impressive season.
Wrestlers Make Their Mark
On the mats, Jameson Beckord earned First Team honors for wrestling, highlighting a successful season. Trey StaRosa and Makenzie Ball secured spots on the Second Team, showcasing their strength and skill throughout the year.
Boys Basketball Recognized for Sportsmanship
In boys basketball, Amari Samuel was awarded an Honorable Mention for his contributions on the court. The team was recognized with the league’s Sportsmanship Award, highlighting the team’s commitment to fair play and integrity.
