On Monday, Eatonville hosted Foss at the EMS field and dominated the Falcons with an 8-0 victory, leading 7-0 by halftime. Senior forward Lilly Lightfoot led the charge with a hat trick, while Linnea Lofgren and Savannah McCandless each contributed two goals. Lucy Allen also found the back of the net, and Coach Max Van Eaton took advantage of the strong lead to rest some starters and give upcoming players valuable field time.
The Cruisers carried their momentum into Tuesday night’s away match at B.W. Lyon Stadium against Clover Park. Despite an early defensive error that left them trailing 1-0, Eatonville rallied back with six unanswered goals to secure a 6-1 win. Senior Mary Van Eaton recorded her own hat trick, with Haley Courson adding two goals and Lofgren scoring once more.
Wednesday's game took Eatonville to Franklin Pierce, where the Cardinals’ defense held strong until Lightfoot broke through with a volley from outside the box, giving Eatonville the lead. Lofgren added another goal to seal the 2-0 win for the Cruisers.
Looking ahead, Eatonville faces Steilacoom away on Monday, followed by a crucial home game Tuesday against Orting for Senior Night. A win against Orting would guarantee a third-place finish in the league standings, with the team already assured of a playoff spot.
