The Cruisers played their fourth game of their shortened season and defeated the Fife Trojans 66-28 Saturday at Art Crate Field.

The Trojans were no real match for the Cruisers at any part of the game. The Cruiser offensive and defensive lines dominated in the trenches all day pushing their opponents around at will.

Fife has always been a strong opponent for the Cruisers and for them to dominate the game like they did was a nice sight to see.

“We were really proud of how our team performed. Fife is a strong program and to compete the way we did demonstrated how hard our kids have been working,” said Head Coach Gavin Kralik.

The Cruisers would start the scoring barrage on the opening kick when junior Job Kralik returned the kickoff 88 yards for the touchdown.

After forcing Fife to a 3 and out on their first possession, Kralik would add to that lead a few short moments later when senior quarterback Caden Jumper connected with him for a 52 yard touchdown reception. Kralik would go on to finish with 4 catches for 146 yards and 2 touchdowns via the air and 1 kickoff return touchdown. He would also complete all 8 of the Cruisers point after attempts.

Jumper, who “out of the abundance of caution quarantined himself due to a potential exposure” and missing the Cruisers last two games, would finish the game completing 9 out of his 12 passing attempts for 203 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jumper would also carry the ball 9 times for 103 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Also scoring for the Cruisers in the game were running backs Trevor Scanting (3 yard TD run) and Nic Bond (7 yard TD run). Reilly McIlraith would also score when he caught a Kevin Wulff pass for a 7 yard touchdown reception.

Eatonville is now 3-0 in league play and 3-1 overall after dropping a close non-league game against 3A Yelm a few weeks ago.

The Cruisers will travel to Franklin Pierce High School on Friday March 19th to take on the Cardinals. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 pm.
