Lady Cruisers Pick Up Their Third Win
The Lady Cruiser started last week hosting the Rainier Mountaineers in a non-league match-up on Monday, Jan. 24th.
Rainier senior Faith Boesch was on fire from long range, drilling 9 of 18 3-pointers to break Rainier's single-game 3-point record in a 62-44 road win over the Cruisers.
Boesch's big night came at the perfect time as the Mountaineers were trailing 13-8 heading into the second quarter. Boesch then drilled 6 of 8 from downtown en route to an 18-point second quarter to give Rainier a 32-23 lead at the break.
The Cruisers just couldn't battle back from the 9 point halftime deficit and would fall to the Mountaineers 62-44.
Hailey Rath would lead the Cruisers with 23 points.

Hailey Rath would lead the Cruisers with a game-high 18 points as Eatonville picked up only their third win of the season with a 48-35 victory.
Eatonville would finish off the week hosting #3 ranked Montesano Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs would live up to their ranking as they would bully their way to a 61-13 route of the Cruisers.
The Cruisers will finish off with a home game on Monday, January 31st against Tenino at 5:30 pm, another home game against Hoquiam on Tuesday, Feb. 1st at 5:30 pm, and then finish off the regular season with an away game at Elma on Feb. 3rd at 7:00 pm.
Senior Night will be on Tuesday, February 1st. Please plan to attend this game and cheer on and support the seniors that have graced the Rainier Connect Arena court for the last 4 years.
