Lady Cruisers Stay Hot, Pick Up Two More Wins

Alina Quinney collected four hits as the Lady Cruiser Fastpitch team defeated the Enumclaw Hornets 29-10 this past Tuesday.


The Cruisers would collect 31 hits in the high scoring affair.


Quinney hit a home run in the second, doubled in the fifth, and hit two triples in the seventh inning. She would drive in a total of seven runs on the day.


Berkeley Porter continued her hot hitting by going six for six at the plate and driving in four runs.


Senior Haley Olson would pick up the win for the Cruisers. She would surrender eight runs on ten hits over five innings, striking out three and walking one. Porter would throw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.


Thursday would see the Cruisers hosting the Fife Trojans and Alina Quinney would hit her third home run of the season as Eatonville would pick up their third win of the season, 14-3.


Brooke Blocker would hit her first home run of the seasons also while Hailey Rath would hit her third.


Berkeley Porter would pick up another three hits in the game. Porter is now batting a blistering .778 going fourteen for eighteen at the plate to lead the team.


Haley Olson would go the distance for the Cruisers. She would pitch five innings, giving up only three runs on five hits and striking out one to pick up her team leading third win of the season.


Next up for the Lady Cruisers is a home game against the Clover Park Warriors on Wednesday and then they travel to Tacoma to take on the Foss Falcons on Friday. They will then start of next week with a home game against Franklin Pierce on Monday. Start time is 4:00 pm.
