Here are a few other results from Eatonville High School sports teams for the week of Sept. 4th through Sept. 9th.
Boy’s Tennis
Lost 3-2 to the Vashon Pirates. The Cruisers notched their two wins in singles play with Brody Thirtyacre winning 6-2, 6-1 and Carl Lucas also won his match 6-2, 6-4.
Swimming Jamboree
Noteworthy PR’s from the jamboree: Sophomore Charlotte Stumph’s 100 split from the 850 mixed freestyle relay, Senior Captain Reese Zurfluh’s 50 split in the 200 freestyle relay, and Junior Captain Gracie Forsman’s anchor 50 in the 200 freestyle relay.
Coach Andrea Stammen – “Times from all of our returning swimmers were significantly faster than their PR’s from last season’s district meet. To start our season ahead of where we left off is a huge testament to how hard these ladies have worked in the off season, as well as to their grit, determination, and dedication to their sport and team.”

Olympia Invite (2 Mile Race): Freshman Boys Race – Ben Bernt (2nd), Titus Lowe (37th). Freshman Girls Race – Hannah Bieker (55th). Sophomore Boys Race – Colton Rush (11th), Jasper Beck (107th). Sophomore Girls Race – Grace Coonrod (4th), Bridget Stumph (23rd). Junior Boys Race – Ben Morrish (92nd), Joe Callon (101st), Micah Vannier (115th). Junior Girls Race – Cheyanne Price (21st).
