Sports Shorts Week of 10/3 - 10/9

Girls Soccer

Oct. 4th - Defeated Hoquiam 1-0 on penalty kicks. The two teams went scoreless through regulation and two 5-minute double overtimes which sent the game into PKs. Both teams scored their first two goals, then Hoquiam missed their next two (one wide and one stopped by goalkeeper Tierney Amaral), and then Eatonville scored two more to seal the deal. PKs scored by: Sara Smith, Hailey Courson, Mary Van Eaton, and Kyleigh Backlund

Cross Country

Oct. 6th - Boys win the Rainier Invitational 5000m race. Top runners for the Cruisers were: Joey Mueller (2nd place), Colton Rush (3rd place), and Owen Van Eaton (5th place).
