Cruisers Blank Tyee Behind Olson's No-Hitter

Freshman Haley Olson threw the coveted no-hitter for the Eatonville Cruisers as they defeated Tyee 10-0 on Tuesday. Olson earned the win for Cruisers. She allowed no hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out three and walking one.

Cruisers got things started in the first inning when Kylie Koszykowski singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one of the Cruisers 6 runs in the inning.The offensive onslaught came from walks by Katie Kondra and Miranda Smith, a single by Koszykowski, and by Olson.

Cruisers launched two home runs on the day. Shayla Coleman went yard in the third inning. Brooklynn Lucht put one out in the fourth inning.

Coleman went 3-for-4 at the plate and drove in 3 runs. Coleman led Cruisers with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 12 stolen bases total.

That win moves the Cruisers to 6-3 on the season and 4-0 in league play giving them sole possession of 1st place.
