Humphrey Scores Athlete Of The Week Honors

Eatonville Sports News would like to congratulate Eatonville Cruiser Jarod Humphrey on being named the Eatonville Sports News Winter Sports Athlete of the Week for the week of December 31st – January 6th.

Humphrey, a senior on the Eatonville HS Boys Basketball team, had a great couple of games last week for the Cruisers. He scored 15 points to lead the Cruisers to a 59-49 victory over Yelm. He then followed that up with a season high 18 points in a win against Highline 70-68.

Athlete of the Week winners receive their choice of a shake, cone, or smoothie courtesy of the Cruiser Café​ or $5 worth of frozen yogurt from Malibu Frozen Yogurt.

Weekly winners are also then eligible for the Athlete of the Month award which is a $25 Gift Certificate from either Cruiser Café or Malibu Frozen Yogurt, a hand-made Cruiser themed quilt courtesy of Alyssa Wood, and a Cruiser themed tumbler cup courtesy of Junk Drawer Crafts.
